At the bottom of a mountain... looking up... wondering what it must be like to be on the summit...?
First I have to welcome the thistles of discomfort and then overcome the barriers of knackered knees.... Will I do it??
Um...... Perhaps the view from down here isn't so bad after all!!
Actually less than an hour.... wind was too cold!! Saturday walkers hunched - into their collars- all gone home..... and for a short while it was just the sun, the wind, the trees - and me.

Honoured to receive my APSNZ (Associate of the Photographic Society of NZ) at the Tauranga annual Convention 2 May 2015
The challenge was to submit a portfolio of 12 images which had coherence, but still showed variety and came up to standard.
Apologies to those PSNZ members who have already seen this on the PSNZ FB page, but for those who have not - I was overawed by the sets shown by my peers and truly honoured to be considered of a similar standard.
Has been a great convention - most inspiring!
