 "Remaining" - my entry to this exhibition (- sold - I'm pleased to say!)
Image was one I created in Wanaka days, but presentation was inspired by thinking about the Christchurch fires..... and what might remain after a house fire....  Spent a couple of hours trying to capture these delightful characters in flight - totally frusting!! My reaction times are way to slow :( However, I have managed to see that at take off they jump in the air before engaging wings. At times, they look just like a jump-jet - though way prettier :)
