Feeling battered

yes... I am feeling a little battered by circumstances - 5 unrelated problems coming to the fore on one day. 
.............feeling small & inadequate to the tasks demanded...

That is indeed life - whether the storms are large and spectacular - attracting world-wide attention, or small and locally focused -
they can be equally stressful.
...... a salutary reminder never to belittle others' problems
(even if they seem minor to me)
And getting some perspective - these storms help root us firmer - enabling us to withstand the next storm also.
